The insulation is wrapped in a durable seam-sealed 170D DryVent 2-layer fabric, making it highly waterproof and windproof. 120g of hydrophobic HeatSeeker insulation is layered in the hood and along the shoulders, preventing soakage from heavy snow. A Velcro securing Stormflap covers the two-way reverse coil front zipper, blocking cold winds. A reverse-coil-zip chest pocket and patch chest pockets offer quickly accessible storage.
